Our goal at Images Hair & Beauty Banora is to provide quality service in a timely manner. In order to do this we have implemented the following policies. All clients are seen to apply their expressed consent to these terms and conditions unless they otherwise advise a member of Images Hair & Beauty prior to their appointment. Any appointment confirmation is considered expressed consent to the full terms and conditions outlined below.
COVID-19 Restrictions/Lockdown booking deposits - UPDATED 27TH SEPTEMBER 2021
In response to the emerging Covid-19 crisis, our salon will request Booking Deposits for all NEW guests to the salon. Any cancellation of your service due to LOCKDOWNS will be treated with a refund of booking deposits OR retainment (with your permission) for your priority booking on opening. All Service terms listed below are STRICTLY ENFORCE. Our salon endeavours to provide each guest with AMPLE NOTICE and OPPORTUNITY to reschedule or cancel any advance booking.
Vaccination requirements from 1st November 2021
Images Hair & Beauty at Banora are obliged to ensure the Health and Well being of its team and patrons by following the NSW government guidelines surrounding vaccination requirements for personal services (regional). These guidelines prevent our salon from accepting any un-vaccinated (Covid-19) guests from entering our premises until 15th December 2021 or until the NSW state government lift restrictions accordingly (whichever is sooner). To ensure that our business meets its requirements, all guests will be forwarded a form to complete indicating if they meet the NSW Government Guidelines for accessing our business.

You may be requested to confirm your vaccination status prior to making a booking or at any time via secure form (sent via sms). Please note that any un-confirmed vaccination status appointment due to non return of digital forms will be cancelled (case by case basis and with consultation of individual firstly). This is to allow ample time for rebooking of appointments. Any persons whom cannot provide the necessary information will sadly be refused service to avoid individual fines and business fines of which will cripple our small business. Information collected whether electronically or verbally will be stored for the purpose of contact tracing only, secured against each individuals client card.
If you do not meet the NSW government guidelines from 1st November 2021, we are more than willing to take your bookings in advance for a date proceeding 1st December 2021.
Management will not tolerate any disrespect towards our team for their lawful requirements to request and record your status for the purpose of entry. Our business would not be able to remain open without our communities support and whether we agree or disagree with the current guidelines, we are being compliant to be able to stay open safely. Please do not mistake our compliance for that of disdain to your privacy. We follow many rules and this is another one of them. We thank you for your understanding.
Booking Deposit Policy
A booking deposit of $25 is required for any booking allocated more than 1 hours of time. A $50 booking deposit is required for any appointment for specialty services including colour removal, keratin treatments or the like. If a booking deposit is required, you will be ADVISED. If you are not able to pay the Booking Deposit at the time of booking or on request by Images Hair & Beauty Banora, your appointment will be moved to 'STAND BY' for the same date and time that you requested. Your appointment is NOT CONFIRMED unless the Booking Deposit is paid. Failure to reply to booking reminders is NOT considered a cancellation and cancellation policy below applies. Booking Deposits can only be made by credit/debit card, which is held securely by SalonPay (powered by Afterpay). Images Hair & Beauty DO NOT retain credit card details. All credit/debit cards are encrypted securely via SalonPay and are used to debit any deposits/service costs or monies owed. Booking Deposits are NOT fees, the deposit is yours to utilise at your appointment or roll over to your following appointment (preferred).
We reserve your appointments especially for you, therefore, we request that you be courteous and respectful and call us promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. To best utilise appointment times for all clients we require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the BOOKING DEPOSIT BEING FORFEITED. This also applies to drastic appointment changes on the service you are booked in for. “No Shows” will be charged 100% of the service. SAME DAY CANCELLATION/RESCHEDULING will be charged 100% of the service (case by case).
We offer an SMS reminder service which is sent to you 3 days prior to your appointment. On receipt of this text, we ask that you confirm ‘Yes’ or cancel with ‘No’ and ring for a new appointment. We endeavour to contact via phone or alternative methods should you not reply the DAY PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT. If no message is returned, no text or email confirmation, your appointment WILL BE CANCELLED and your BOOKING DEPOSIT forfeited.
Images Hair & Beauty reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed appointments and the cancellation policy listed above will apply. ‘No shows’ or less than 24 hour notice of change will be required to pay deposits for all future appointments.
Please arrive on time to ensure you receive the full service you have booked in for. If you are running late, please let us know - we will do everything we can to accommodate you, however, please keep in mind that we may have to reschedule your appointment, or may not have time to complete the whole service, in which case you will need to make another booking.
Settlement of Accounts
All accounts are to be paid on completion of work. Work that has been completed, regardless of outcome has been completed with thorough consultation of the client and at the cost of the business. Time, product and professional experience has been utilised to fulfill a service and as such a cost is to be remitted by the client to Images Hair & Beauty. Should payment not be made upon completion of service, outstanding accounts will be dealt with via legal means.
We pride ourselves on providing all clients with fantastic service and quality customer care. We are professional, highly- skilled and experienced, and will provide you with the best hair care services possible. All clients are provided with a thorough consultation prior to commencement of each colour service. The details of this consultation can have a detrimental effect on the service that is performed by your stylist (i.e type of home products utilised, frequency of swimming etc). The stylist will at all times advise before, during and after the service, recommendations to ensure that the work being performed can be sustained both at the time of service and after the service. It is at your discretion as to your acceptance of these recommendations. The stylist nor Images Hair & Beauty CANNOT be held liable for recommendations that you do not follow.
If you are not satisfied with the results of your salon service, due to a possible error by us and in line with your consultation recommendations, please contact the salon within 24 hours of your appointment. We will ask you to return to the salon for your hair to be visually assessed within 3 business days of your appointment, and are able to provide a one time complimentary adjustment within 5 business days of your appointment date if there is an error. We do not offer refunds on salon services or change of mind services. If you are unable to return to the salon for a visual assessment, or have attended an alternative salon for a service, we are unable to fulfil the terms of our guarantee. Change of mind to colours or cut services are not covered and will be charged at usual service prices.
Responsibility for Children & Personal Items
For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children are accompanied by adults at all times, and carefully monitored. Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of each client.
Allergies, Medical Conditions, Medications
We kindly ask that you advise us of any illness, injury or changes to your health status prior to any services being conducted. We cannot be held responsible if a client does not disclose pertinent health information.
Head Lice Policy
Although Head lice are not considered a physical threat to team or others, nor is it an indication of un-cleanliness, our salon reserves the right to refuse service following the Equal Opportunities Act. Our salon nor its team are committing an offence against this Act by refusing to perform a hairdressing service on a person with head lice, treated or otherwise. Please respect our decision to refuse service.
